Which antenna end cap looks better?

Does size matter? Any better performance with the larger antennae? The back of the ride has more mass, what the hell, go big.
 
Where did you get the shorter one.
The regular antennae is always in the way when I use my car cover, and how is your reception affected with it?

After reviewing the pictures again-Go with the longer antennae, it fits the body better. The shorty just looks like a block of black plastic. I say full length OR remove it completely.
 
On board with the shortest one - minimalist for sure.

BTW - I like the color matched tailgate!

Planning a body/repaint this spring for my 06', color matching the rear spoiler is at the top of the list, one of the "must dos" I jotted down after going over Rookies car (along with eliminating the antennae......).
 
I like the smaller antenna... Its not the size of it but what you do with it !

It's actually just an automotive vacuum plug. I screwed in a M5 Hex head bolt 10mm length to protect the threads and then plopped on the plug.

The FX has two antennaes. I haven't noticed any loss in reception after removing the mast. Signal is just as good as ever.

If you are afraid of loss of reception, unscrew the mast and drive around to see how it goes. If you decide to go without the mast and can't find a vacuum plug that fits let me know and I can send one to you.
