Where were you at 123456.78900

Great execution and must took some strategic plannings to be parked with such an iconic view.

if the math is done correctly, one would of reset the trip A at 115566.0 ODO in achieving the final results.

^^ pork beat me to it =)

All, I am new to the forum and clearly struggling with responding to the correct thread in the correct way and editing my responses, please bear with me...

perfect . No photoshop on this one? :smile (2):

Absolutely none.

...this picture took about 6 months of planning...

.. think about it for a second, it took 4 months of watching the odo like a hawk to get the digits to line up like that ...

... top is the actual milage, bottom is the trip counter.... had it reset it at exactly at 115566 (123456-7890km) for this to happen....

... no photoshop here ...

Would have been cool to have the trip odo at 7891.0

VERY cool nonetheless!

@aiya:
- have one similar to this as well. reset trip 1 to run to 7890 and trip 2 to run to 00987 (so that the digits ran correctly clockwise)...

- also took another one at exactly 100000 km on a trip from NY to TO just outside Syracuse, will post that one shortly in this thread when I am at the PC ...

will see if I can find them and post ...

I commend your planning from over 7890 km ago, and remembering to stick with it! Were you hoping to get to the end of the parking lot?

excellent spotting @porkandbeans, @soonster!

yes, I was hoping to get to the end but was running out of metres fast... did not want the last digit to roll over but had to stop because I did not want to take any chances that it would ...

did quite a bit of backing up and driving forward to burn up metres ...

there was a Toronto police cruiser in the lot (this is right by the waterfront at CNE in Toronto) and the cop in it must have thought I was nuts...

was not going to let the picture that I had been planning for months pass me by though...

Where is that parking lot ?

This is at the CNE grounds in Toronto at Remembrance Drive and Ontario Place Blvd. Thats where they had the old ticket booths. Just a little bit to the south of here ( http://bit.ly/18tewTS )

Its' all abandoned now.
