Where is my transmission dipstick located?

Back behind the plenum by the firewall. Its held in place by a bracket. Remove the bolt and it comes right out. You will have to pull the engine cover.

Hello, new to the scene (it's fantastic here!), was wondering if you needed a specific tool to check the transmission fluid (in removing the bolt)? I didn't want to break anything, and I just wanted to see the condition of the fluid. It seems I can access the dipstick without removing the engine cover - or maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing...

If you know where to look, you can access the trans dipstick without removing the engine cover. It is easier with the cover removed, so your choice torremove the 4 bolts or not.
The dipstick is held in place by a standard bolt or screw. It operates as a screw. Nothing tricky.
