Where is FX35 2007 ECM and how to get it out the car?

Fast advice needed, where to look for ECM and what is easies way to get it out the car? Working on reflash solution for this CU for our FI VQ35DE cars and need to get it in hands for few days.

BTW is it possible to get it used somewhere for cheap?

behind glovebox, drop it & you'll see it... they are very specific, must get same year & numbers/letters as the old, finding a used is difficult, finding a correct used is very very difficult...
 
Thank you! Do we need to remove glovebox to take it out? Or panel under glovebox?
I see...basicaly it does not matter what year ECM to get, just need the same type, not going to install it on the vehicle, needed for R&D only :)
 
+1 on Turbo.. On 03-05 it was very easy to reach it. On 06-08, you have to take down the lower plastic cover (pull the tabs out carefully), take off the passenger kick plate plastic cover, take off the screws over there and take off the screws in the glove box. Be careful on the airbag plug and disconnect neg cable from battery.

hmm.. There was something different.. Maybe the pic above is for 03-05.. When changing the cabin filter I had to remove the whole glove box instead of taking out part of it and I had to take out the screws under the right foot finisher to do that..
 
think we all do, I'm using an 06 up dash with an 03 glove box... think there all the same really... glove box is all one assy that gets removed...
