It seems that I run into this problem everytime I switch out my wheels. My H&R spacers are not safe. Everyone is afraid to touch spacers. Do any1 on the board tend to run into this issue. Do you drive with your spacers year round? I'm about to give up with my spacers, I have the H&R's 20mm spacers with the extended studs. Also, has any1 had issues with Studs breaking off, tread wear, and wheels falling off?

Ya that's my problem too with stores. I like going to Discount Tire and they won't touch the car. I have 25mm and been running since July with no issues and plan on running them through this winter. But I also have the DRM style with the extra lugs, not extended lugs. But JB is right unless you smack a curb really bad or hit a bad pothole, there shouldn't be any problems. May try switching to the DRM style with extra lugs?

from experience seems like most chain stores wont touch anything with spacers but a lot of mom & pop or performance shops ive been to have no problemo.,..

got ichiba V2, extra lugs, aero is right about discount tire, dumba$$e$ won't balance my wheels. haven't had any problems in 6 months. i do take the wheels off and check the torque on the spacers once every two months and check the torque on the wheels twice a month.

I ran into this issue many times when I had my old setup.

Their excuse is that they don't want to be liable if anything goes wrong with your wheels or if by some chance you end up loosing a wheel. LOL

I ran with 15 and 20mm spacers from Ichiba and H&R for 2 years and had no problems with them.

My old set up if currently being used by Toy4X and he has not any issues with them at all.

Just be mindful that if you do decide to remove them you wont be able to place your stock center caps on your wheels. The extended studs will prevent the center cap to hold on to the wheel.

Good luck.
