Wheels on a budget

So I really want to get some wheels for my 2006 sapphire fx35. I was looking at some Iforged wheels until I found out that they would run me about $4000. I like the black wheel, with silver rim look, and I also like the brushed silver look. I am looking for other input on a clean look for the sapphire fx. Any suggestions on make/model, or even just style would be appreciated. For my first two mods I plan to get wheels, and springs to lower it a bit. I would also be interested in nice used wheels.:rotfl:

xxr makes budget friendly wheels but they are cheap quality ... for the time being maybe youd consider them...

i used them for a few months then upgraded

im on the same boat. i really want gtr rims. esp the new design ones. waiting patiently. Also want some advan1 ones but $$$$$. any recommendationsto keep an eye out for light weight 20's?

Do you like this? To get you a head start. I will put the wheels & tires setup in the classified soon (again!) :ninja:

Wheels is one of those things you should really not cheap out. It's like wearing flip flops with a designer suit, just doesn't look good :) So wether keep saving up like some suggested or look for a good quality wheels that are pre-owned (look up at Andy's pic, wink wink). :-)

Springs first before aftermarket wheels imo.

Sapp blue would look sick on either black or polished rims.

I concur with Adam and Pat. Don't go cheap on wheels. If you going spend under $1K for wheels, minds as well run with stock wheels and save up for a nice set. Springs do change the look, rides, and performance aspects of the car. I have a set of used H&R springs too, if you're interested. :smile (2):

Yes I do...please let me know!

How much would you guys recommend that I lower the vehicle. I don't mind the stock wheels, but mine are 18''. I definitly want quality, unless I can find some used ones at the right price, I will save up. Thanks guys!

im sorry for the thread jack but since we are on the topic of rims, whats the ideal offset to look out for a 10 wide rim and a 10.5 wide rim so i don't have to run spacers?
