Wheel wont come off

Is the wheel/tire on the ground? Also, make sure you have a good sturdy crowbar. Not the the one that comes with the FX. A 4 point crow bar will give you more leverage. You can get one at any auto supply store. And if you still can't get it loose get someone to help.

all the lug nuts are off and the tire is completely off the ground. the problem is that the wheel seems to be stuck to the studs or rotor. i had this problem before in my civic but i was able to hit the wheel till it came off

lower it to the ground and maybe the wheel can come loose.
just a suggestion:2smile:

also when the car is up, some side to side movement applied on the tires may help. Sounds like the rim and hub has some rust that caused it to sieze together... good luck.

Ah, sorry I thought it was a stuck nut, lol.

I suggest hitting the inner wheel area to try and loosen it. You can try what themerchant suggested but be careful when you lower the car to not snap any bolts. Just lower it slowly.

I have had the best result with hitting the wheel from the backside until it loosens up a little bit...That is if it isn't a stuck lug...

Have the wheel off the ground and kick it while rotating the wheels from each corner.
havent tried this one. im exhausted though lol ill try tommorrow. i changed the pads in the other side in less than 10 minutes, so its aggravating me more that this other wheel is not moving lol. even if i try to spin the wheel it will not spin. it only moves a few inches to either side. its awd maybe thats why the wheel wont move much

pb blaster in the hub hole of the rim and lug holes and wait a few hours. After... apply anti-seize between the rim and hub before placing the rim back on.

hit the rim from behind while turning it should work it out litle by little, you gotta kind of wiggle it off. absolute worse case you can thread the lugs in, then back out 1/2 turn basically leaving the lugs a little loose, then put it down & drive it a few feet, if it still don't lossen drive it a bit harder & in a turn, at some point it will definatley loosen & not damage anything in this really by doing this...

Turbocad's got it. If it's really stuck, i'd often back the lug nuts off a half turn or so, drop it on the ground and get some brawn on the vehicle rocking it left and right.
