Wheel offset question

Hello. Not really good when it comes to offset. I used to have a 2007 fx 35 with 22x10.5 +40 offset and it was pretty flush with my fenders. I now own a 2014 qx70. Was wondering how those wheels would sit on the qx70? Will they stick out more or be pushed in more? I know my stock 20's are +50. Thank you for any help in advance

These wheels will just a tad tuck in when comparing to 1st Gen FX.

Ok thank you. Guess i will need spacers. I do have a plate they added when they put on my old rims but it is thin. Maybe 1mm. Guess i'll use it for now until i get good spacers

I don't think you will need spacers. The stock wheels should be 8J X 20 with 50 offset. The 22s are 10.5" wide with 40 offset. since the wheels are 2.5" wider, this will move the lip 1.25" (31.75mm) further out. Removing the 10mm difference will leave 21.75mm (roughly .85"). So, they should stick out almost an inch. Of course, my calculations could be totally wrong, so double check.

Ok thank you for the response. I will put them on once i get my H&R's and see how it looks. If it does stick out more, i hope it is not by much but i think it will be pretty flush like my gen 1 was.
