I have about 82,000 miles on my 2006 and thought to ask; when is it time to start looking for a replacement - but I am happy to see 140,000 miles above with jcasanova and going strong so I'll wait for a while longer.
That's how I always drive. Except with cruise control VDC has to stay on. I've gotten used to driving in manual mode, especially engine braking. The VDC I turn off because one time I tried to pull out onto a faster moving road in front of traffic and I guess the tire slipped for a second so it cut power. I remember the Tahoe had a shifting issue a couple times where I couldn't accelerate quickly and just sat there like a turtle as faster cars were catching me. Not a good feeling.
Mine has 77,000 on it, I am hoping for sure this car lasts easily into the 150 K range, I have a 2004 Vibe with 200,000 on it, and Nothing major has been done to it. only general maint.
