Hello all!

After a year of admiring this car, I finally sealed the deal on an '06 FX35 today and I'm picking her up on Wednesday! I've never been much of a car enthusiast, but everything about the FX gets me going. Needless to say, I'm really excited to be joining you guys here on iS.

One thing that I'm worried about though- the previous owner just put brand new Hankook Ventus ST RH06 tires on it last month. I've checked them out and they seem to have gotten great reviews for everything except snow handling. I'm an avid skier and will be taking my FX to the mountains 3 out of 4 weekends per month on average during the winter. Do you think snow tires would be a necessity, or will I do alright with a great set of chains?

Thanks all for the warm welcome! I FINALLY got my car today...SO stoked. These cars are so amazing. Looking forward to seeing you guys @ the meet on sunday!
 
Very cool. Congrats again. See you on Sunday. Just got your car and already going to a meet. that is good. hahaha
