Whats The Highest Milage on any FX

230K+ and yeah, I need to replace my struts/shocks and get my seat vinyl repaired.

Also, spring clock assembly since the airbag light went off for driver side malfunction.
Other than that, I'm fine.

My 2003 FX45 (Copper) is now a little over 218Kmiles. Since my 200K update and list of repairs a few pages back, I did the following:

Replaced alternator (I did this proactively , since I was briefly working a job with over 100 mile/day commute). In retrospect, the original alternator would have still outlasted the job anyway!!
Driving around with a cracked windshield until I get my next job.
Replaced my Sirius radio box and antenna
Replaced front brake pads yet again.
Drained and re-filled front and rear differentials just now at 218K.
Did a quick drain and fill of transmission fluid (a little over 3 qts of Castrol TransMax Import Multi-Vehicle).

Current - Getting a rhythmic womp-womp sound now, possibly from the front. Not sure if tire balance, wheel bearing/hub, or CV axle problem. Rear drive/prop shaft still seems to be in good shape.

I still love this car!!!

Wow, that's great to hear. I plan to keep ridding mine until she beggs me to stop too.

Let me know if you find a good place for vinyl repair. I need to fix both my front seats. I saw couple places (one of 59 and Sam Houston; another on Hillcroft), but not sure I will be comfortable taking my car there...

I have 175k on my 2005 FX35. It has been a tank. Only atypical maintenance...1) replaced front wheel bearings at about 150k...horrible grinding noise. 2) replaced rear light electronics...had a cooler dump water in the cargo area...shorted out electronics under the back seat...who knew :bulgy-eyes:.

Just wondering how long this baby will run. Good to see that there is a pretty good track record.

Wow... thought I had the highest milesage and you beat me by a whole 100K miles lol

2006, 75k, just did a brake change. I also had to do a minor seat repair, but otherwise it literally runs like brand new.

Im at 178k. No problems. If the car had a good history of maintenance, then there should be no worries

I did fail to mention that my rear shocks were completely blown upon porsche, but it's been replaced with coilovers :)

2003 FX 45 247k - Just had the oil changed today. Replaced 2 rear brake calipers, both wheel bearings in the front, one camshaft sensor and one crankshaft sensor. This car is a beast! Yes some vinyl wear and I think I'm going to check with a few local furniture upholstery shops here in Raleigh for prices on repairs. Cracks in the dash, found a place for a cover that fits over the top. $350.00 easy install. I really cannot complain everything I've fixed have been normal wear and tear items! I will get another but will not trade this one in.

My 05 fx35 is at 220,000 just did one rear wheel bearing and 15,000 miles ago the water pump she's running strong

Wow, we need to see if its 345k KM or Miles, on the side note, i have an 07 with 144k miles on the clock and was wondering what life is like at 200k, seems not that much, all i had to do is replace rotors, pads, front wheel bearings, spark plugs and one coil pack. VQ35 engines are great!
