I purchased a 2009 FX50 in 2010 with 35,000 miles on it. Replaced the pair of stock air filters with K&N's offering, and have enjoyed it ever since. Only recently have I started to experience little piddly failures. Tires are a sore topic, and I've never warmed up to the front end esthetic. But all things considered, this is the best car I've ever owned!

My 2009 FX50 continues to run like a top. It's showing a few signs of age, but it's holding up amazingly well. Only now am I having a few odds and ends fail, all minor details. I'm happy to have your help!

I too had a well loved FX. At 236,000 miles it owed me nothing, but it had some gremlins, refreshed the suspension, not cheap, rear hatch lock had become bi-polar and too often dysfunctional. And then there’s the warning lights...

Now my second generation Limited is really nice, still a 3.7 but plenty quick for me, way faster than surrounding traffic. If you look around they’re becoming surprisingly affordable.

So,if you’re wondering what to do, tally up the things due for repair or replacement, versus say the price for the last year V8 you can find. You might be surprised how affordably you can refresh your ride. Get it with everything you have ever wished for you can probably love it for another ten years.
