I have a midnight mocha fx35. Im ordering some 3m di-noc. Im thinking to wrap the vents and all the handles. Since my rims are chrome im thinking of leaving the back and grille alone so my wheels match something.

Im wondering if i should leave my roof rack alone and the strip on the side of the fx, not sure what its called.

Also, thinking maybe wrap the bottom plastic part on the rear bumper.

Up for any suggestions. I feel like it might be a little to much wrap.

last thing, also thinking about wrapping the plastic trim above the wheels.

I was thinking of doing the same. The side vents are going to be a PAIN

Yeah i want to pop them out but not sure if im gonna be able to. Easiest way i think is to lay it over and cut a slit in the middle where the actually vents are and try to stretch it.

Are you going to get really detailed and wrap the black part of the vents?

You gonna have to remove your door handles, in order to make sure you get the vinyl around the entire door handle.

if i cant find a way to take it off, im thinking if i work from inside the handle, maybe the middle or the bottom and wrap around and use a splice technique i saw on youtube it would make it look clean. Ill see how that goes.

Anyone suggest any good primers to put over the 3m? or should i just stick to the 3m primer?

I remember Jeff saying that the 3m primer was good, since he vinyled his interior and used 3m primer I would listen to him.

Agree, 3M primer(Click) is good. Especially around curves and small narrow area. I use it on my Di-Noc wraps too.
