What was your first mod?

Wow! how was it. I was looking at the other day for 1100bucks how is the Mrev2? i want one in my 08, but Im curious what kind of gains did you see?
 
actually, all the mods in my signature are in the same order I installed them in. Focals are in but put on hold. I need couple amps and sub but am waiting on those purchases 'cause I would rather get my gtspec braces first. I've been waiting fot the gtspec group buy for a while and now that i'm in it I have to wait even more, damn!
If I get off my lazy a$$ i'll go buy some VHT smoked clear and spray my rear reflectors, I think about it when i see them.

My favorite mods... headers and HID fogs.

someone posted up a dyno from a non revup and if i remember correctly it gained something like 13hp with the mrev2 & spacer. I hadn't been driving it much when i installed it so it was kinda hard to tell.

If your looking into doing something similar, check out cosworths intake plenum with the carbon covers.

For $1100 bucks I think I would rather get exhaust or headers & just the spacer. The spacer adds some power and doesn't cost much. When you add the mrev2 it adds a little more but not much as far as performance per dollar goes. I have it only because I got a smokin' deal on it all...

I'm guessing what he found also included the copper deal for the throttle body.
motordyne has it all for just over $750 before shipping.
E-bay has the imitation motordyne for less, i'de stay away from that.
 
Psiclne has the MREV2 installed .... and had it dynoed also . I know he posted his findings.....all I know is the best bang for the buck (as told by Rookie and other professionals I talked with) is a final gear change. (3.9 ftw)
 
mine was the tinted windows, and then the K&N filter....from there, eibach srings and 22" wheels, GT spec braces and i just recently tinted my tail lights
and on to the performance parts...:wink:
 
First Mod was My Sheldan air freshner: 5+ whp
that paved the way to the 262:laugh:
 
First mod was eibach springs and a set of TSW wheels (which I regretted it as soon as it was installed, lol)
 
my first mods were 4 things before I drove the fx, 1 was the custom dash with pc screen, 2nd was the black pearl paintjob with the third which was updating the body to all 07 trim, new style bumper & grille & the new style lower heavy chrome moldings & 4th was 3 piece black & chrome 20's..., then I got plates for it :smile:

after driving it a bit I think first mod was H&R's...

I had the sport tails and headlamps, stillen intake and billet grille(no longer on the car) in my garage before I picked up the car so they were my first. shortly after was the H&Rs and 22's
