Hi guys

since i couldnt collect enough money for a supercharger, i was woundering what can i install more to my car.
i already have : Stillen headers, Stillen CIA, Stillen STB, UR pully, plenuim spacer and a custom made catback system which i really hate:4tongue: and maybe ill get a new rear mufller.

So i was considering getting FI resonated test pipes like brown and getting a custom made Y pipe. And ill get a unichip cuz i couldnt find any garage can do a reflash in my country.

I thought of installing Camshaft but the fixing cost too much:thumpdown: and im not really into it.

If anyone of u guys know more parts that i can install plz tell me.

Thanks in advance.

Cams would be a nice addition....but like you said the cost of the Cams are about $1k then you gotta pay for the labor - unless you do the swap yourself.

i cant do it my self cuz i dont have the experiance.. i asked a local shop for the cost he said it would be around $700 just for the fixing.

Test pipes would give you gains too - Brown_FV has test pipes maybe he can chime in

yea they REALLY REALLY have great gain with the headers.. i had a straight pipes before i loved the gain but the ricy sound was too loud so i took them off.

I think you need a tune more than anything right now. You have a bunch of untapped power just waiting for you.

you can get a VB as well.. Stillen was on sale the last time I looked on those. Installation shouldn't be too expensive as well. If you worry about test pipes' ricey sound, you can get a set of high flow cats. As for the unichip, I sold one to Crazyzzz @ the .org around 6 months ago and I don't think he wound up installing it. You can ask him if he still has it.

I dont really know What is the VB and how it works, ill go search for it.

For the test pipes ill get the FI resonated test pipes cuz i talked to Brown_FV and he said there is no ricey sound.

ill PM crazyzzz for the unichip, but im into buying a new one cuz they give warranty for 1 year

The Valve Body (VB) decreases the shift times in your transmission. It doesn't improve power but is an efficiency improvement basically. There are several companies that do it. As far as I know, Stillen's is fast but civilized, SGP's & Level 10's are faster but less civilized. By civilized, I mean harder shifts. Talk to BrnJug in the org is you want to ask about level 10 and there are several people here who know about the other two.

so u mean for example when i shift from the 1st to 2nd gear the RPM reach the 4k but with the VB it reaches 5k?

if yes, doesnt this have to do with the clutch?

No, it's just less delay between shifts. It'll feel more connected & less auto.

I have checked stillen site and it says that i have to send my Valve body to them. Do i have to do that? i dont live in the US so it will take time for shipping and i dont have another car to drive.

Yes, if they do not offer a core exchange then you will have to send them your VB.

additionally, as doc told in the other thread (torque converter one), you'll be better off getting work done on your VB. You should not experience any problems this way..
