Well guys i got my nismo exhaust yesterday from UPS. I'm still waiting on the G35 extension from MYNISMO.COM which is on back order. I really don't want to have anyone hack my exhaust and use alluminized steel because i'm thinking it will rust out eventually. i can't find anyone in my area that use stainless. Should I try the motordyne G35 extension? It doesn't have flanged ends, but i think they can make it work with the rest of the stainless. what should i do, help the (IS) bro out? :confused.:
 
Can't say if that piece will fit with the nismo midpipe. I would suggest just waiting for the correct piece as you may end up just wasting money and time with the motordyne.
 
Personally, I would think it's worth it to travel a bit and find a shop that will use stainless and weld it properly. A Google search of Philadelphia exhaust shops should bring up a few options of installers. Give them a call and see if they TIG weld and have the proper pieces of pipe that you will need.

Otherwise you might have to wait it out and see when the extension piece gets back in stock.

i may have lucked up

I called motordyne today. I spoke with someone in tech support that said they do make the G35 extension piece with a two bolt flange. So i'm going to give it a try. I don't know what's taking the people who make the extension for mynismo.com to respond, but it's it's not mynismo fault i'm going to give the motordyne a try or at least look it over before i start the install. I'll let y'all know how it goes. :smile:
