What should i do about my Passenger seat ?

Hey guys i was wondering can someone please help me out with a issue with my seat.
well my passenger side seat won't recline backwards. only recline foward.. any ideas ?
i can move my seat fwd, backward, up, down, recline foward. but not Backwards!

To tell you the truth i really don't know. my wife drives the FX more then i do. but theres a possibility she spilled something. but you can hear the clicking of the switch going fwd, up, down etc. but when i click the recline backward button. i don't hear anything.

how can i do that ?
 
to remove the whole switch assembly it should only be one screw towards the front of the assembley facing the center console.
 
pop it out and use a ohm meter to check of the switch (pins) is making contact for all functions.
