Just noticed on the Passport site, they offer an upgrade for the 9500i to the 9500ix for $130. I'm kinda tempted, although I dont have any issues with the 9500i.

I still love my 8500 x50. I love it so much I have two units. But these are far from the best in today's market. It was big dog before the 9500 came out.

Still works great for me. I don't use it in the city because too many false readings.

My thoughts exactly. Seems pretty solid on the highway just another tool to use combined with being alert and aware of your surroundings. Anyone use the Escort Live smartcord? I've got the Android app and doesn't seem to have many users. That combined with the battery drain on my phone and I don't use it much.

so if I'm in MI and have a laser jammer on, I can keep it on my cops won't be able to take my speed them knowing I have a jammer on? Seems a bit crazy.

The idea is that as soon as you get the notification you are jammed you slow down and turn off the jammer so they get a slower speed. You definitely don't want to do it too long or they might get suspicious. It might not be illegal, but the dude might be pissed and pull you over for no front plate or maybe he could even say you looked to be speeding, and I couldn't get a reading.

Yeah, but he said radar jammer.

Missed that, my bad.

I'm just wondering, because I wanted to see if there actually is a viable radar jammer. As far as I have heard, there really isn't, and really isn't as much of a need for one like there is a laser jammer.

Oh, I didn't know that. 2008/2009 was the last time I was reading about radar jammers :disapointed:

Guvment probably shut them down. Sounds like will still work on them, but this was from posts a couple years ago.
