Yeah, gotta check your mount out next time you in town. Swear, I have not notice mine loosen up at all since install. Did you tighten it down enough?

9500ix is the best radar out hands down, especially if you pair it up with live cord

^ how often you get warning from the Live Cord app? My guess is all depend on how many driver uses it in the area you're traveling.

Yeah it depends on the area, if I'm in a big city like LA I get a decent amount of alerts. In the smaller surrounding cities, I havent really gotten any alerts. It is still new but once people start buying and there are more users it will be awesome.

Question for those the have the escort live connect, do you have to have the radar detector unit plugged into the escort live cord lighter adapter or dose it connect with blue tooth?

Yes you have to plug it in to the live cord adaptor to power it up and then it connects to your phone via Bluetooth to connect with the live cord app on your phone.

thats kinda of disipointing i was wanting to use the invisa cord so there would be no wires hanging across the windshield :mad.:

I feel you, that's exactly what I wanted to do. Hopefully in the future they will have something that will work

Escort 9500ix all the way. The Gps is priceless. When you go by the same false alarm 2 times it will never happen again. It will even record the frequency of the radar and pick up a different freq(cop) at that same locked out location. Also the redlight / speedlight camera is very useful. The only down side is my trip back from VA to Ohio. There was an awful lot of chatter that I normally don't get on my usual driving routes. The laser actually works well and has given me enough warning, but you have to have somebody infront of you get tagged for this to work.

I have a live chord but don't use it because I have the invisichord as well and prefer that over the live chord. I'd love a mod for it though.

for some reason my "cigarette" lighter doesn't fit my RD's pluggin. It is just a tad too loose and keeps resetting my RD evertime I hit a big bump. I am going to see if I can't just wedge something in there. Anybody else experience this?

I have a Beltronics RX65 (blue display) mounted under my rearview mirror with a Blendmount/Invisicord combo. Probably the best mounting location ever! No ugly cords all over the place and the mount is rock solid. No shaking around like it did with the suction cup mount. I'd like to upgrade to a Valentine or another model with GPS sometime, but the RX65 has saved my butt enough times that I'm happy for now.

Thanks for the link La_fx35 some good info on that site if you want to hardwire your escort live, they also mention a hardwire live kit that should be relased in the next coming months :top: this is what ill be waiting for.

Beltronics RX65 Bar none, the best next to valentine, but who want s to spend $2500. for a radar system. I'm originally from Cincinnati which is where Cincinnati Microwave is located which is who makes Escort and passport as well as Beltronics. I have visited their facility many times as I have had problems with the escorts and passports. After a few visits I spent a lot of time talking to their engineers and the Beltronics in their opinion is a far more superior product over the Escort or Passport. I have had all of them and both of my cars sport the Beltronics RX65 and they are the best IMO!!!! Good luck!

My a/v car installer says the same thing about bel - says people in the know buy and have bel.
