So once you pair your phone up to the Live cord, your phone cannot pair with any other bluetooth device such as a headset or in-car bluetooth phone, true?

Spring loaded pressure,so no rattle/shake/bounce at all. Silent it via the button on the unit unless you run a long straight smart cord up to the rear view mirror mount.

Two more questions. Where does the power line get plugged in to and does it have a quick release to take it off and put it back on?

Actually im assuming theres a power cord coming from somewhere. Where does the power come from?

i searched and most of the ones that you guys have cost like 300+
I been driving in ny for over 13yrs now but never got a ticket cuz i drive slow...
but i think i want one just incase.... is there any good ones in like 100-200 dollar range that
you guys can think of?
 
With the live cord it does pair with my Bluetooth phone in the car. Regarding the headset, it should pair as well

I've been using the Belltronics RX65 and love it. Its a little over $200 at $216. Works great on the highway for those roadtrips and such. I usually leave it off when i'm in the city though since many false alerts/dont go blowing dont residential streets over the limit :tongue (2):

Cool thanks for the info. I was concerned once the phone is paired with the Live cord, my phone cannot pair with other bluetooth devices. The reason being I use Dice MediaBridge in car and don't want to loose that.
 
^ Are you asking how easy it is to remove and plug the radar detector back onto the Blendmount bracket?
 
Recently went on a 1500 mile joy ride with my escort 9500 ix... Warning were accurate and early; almost got a ticket b/c I got tired of waiting for the cop to pop up.

To remove/install the Passport from/to a Blendmount, you have to use both hands; squeeze and hold the 1s and the other hand push 2 and slide it toward you.

It's a bit pricey, but its very good mount. It definitely worth the $ :smile (2):
 
+1 on the Blendmount. Please don't use suction cup mounting method. Looks tacky to begin with and more so in our cars. Pricey but well wroth the $!
 
Hey this ever happen to anybody? You shoot around the slow guy in the fast lane and as soon as you do your detector goes off and you have to go right back in to the middle lane and slow down to speed limit as the guy you just cut passes you wondering wth is your problem. Lol..happened to me a couple of times already

It's easy to take off and on and is an awesome mount.

Only issue is that when removing it and putting it back on, most of the time I have to push the front down angled and after you do that a few times it becomes loose so you have to use your allen wrench on the mount to tighten it up again. I have the radar like a mm from my mirror so I have to angle it to remove it. I like it right there instead of much lower than the mirror. I'm sure if I had it placed more in the center and more noticeable to people in the car/cops, then I wouldn't have to re-tighten every now and then from moving the mount.
