Is there a website to show what each station in your area hase for octane ratings? I'd like to find the highest octane to put in my baby without rolling in to all these stations just to roll back out again.
I have not found 91 in my area so since I fill up when the gauge reads less then 1/2, I alternate between 93 and 89. That way I have a "blend" of app. 91.
If I fill up at 1/4 or less, like on long trips, I use 93, If 91 is not available.
me. the manual says 87 octane is acceptable. i don't race it, so i'm not worried about the performance. also my average mpg this summer has been between 19.7 and 20mpg.
Guys... It's kinda strange... I live in Moscow, Russia. We don't have any 87 or 89...
The lowest is 92, but I was driving on 95. After ECU reflash it was recommended to use 98 , because my engine was tuned up for it, so now I'm only on 98.
Believe me or not, I've got only 2 mods - ECU reflash and custom exhaust (with cats), but my car hits 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and tops to 247 km/h.
I can try to make a vid someday.
So please add 98 octane to your check list =)))
