On my 17 QX70S under the steering wheel there is the OBD plug and another smaller plug to the right of the steering wheel. What is this for?

On the 1st gen FX, there's a single wire connector that's used for putting the TPMS into learning mode. Might be that, but I'm not familiar with the newer models.
