What is this connection?

Hey guys,

Had a remote start installed a few months ago. Well a few weeks ago, this showed up and I can't seem to find what it's for and what's it connected to. The guy isn't too sure either as I would have to drive across states for him to look at it.

I have noticed no problems or anything different with my fx.

Does anyone know what this is for?

Is this for my turbo?

I'm guessing TPMS trigger/programming plug.

Or it can be just a simple mood light plug from your driver floor. Shouldn't that light be on if your driver's door is opened? Has that lower cover panel been removed before?

It was removed when he was doing my remote start. All buttons work and nothing is different that I notice anyway. That's why it's strange...

better question is you got a turbo??

I would open the under the steering column plastic trim panel and check for the other half connector or loose cable connector.

I would guess either turbo or ejector seat.
Can you test to wires to see if there is any power? And what conditions affect it?

That is called the accessory port there should be 5 wires on it. Also that connector should be clipped onto a metal where the two screws are shown. Hope this helps.
