What is the point of the lights on the rear door.

It has nothing to do with production costs SMH. The tail lights were purposely designed like that. If production costs were the issue, then why does the FX come with more standard options than the Audi SUV? Just cause one manufacturer has something doesn't mean every manufactuer has to.

Be lucky they even gave you LED tail lights. Some manufactures in this range don't even give you LED lights standard.

I seriously suggest that you sell ur FX and get some other car if your not at all satisfied. You keep complaining about the plastic and not having chrome and all that. You look so disappointed in your car. By now I m thinking even lord almighty would not ever be able to make a perfect car for you. Them humans at nissan have certainly failed. I think you should get a Volvo XC90. Let me know, I can hook you up.

I didnt start the topic, I merely replied. I didn't know it was a requirement of this forum to praise the FX to the lord with my every post. Like I said before , yes I like the car the pros outweight the cons, but obviously any criticizm cannot be posted here because I will get hanged out to dry rather than be able to discuss it.

Pretty much IMHO they should all LED.. But a look around tells another story. A great aftermarket for them though. My son's Jeep SRT8 didn't have them but he found a drop in replacement that looks great!

Praise for the FX is pretty much justified, but opinions are just that - even those that disagree with your own

^ Nevermind, answered my own question by walking out to the garage. Mine do not illuminate, guess they're just reflectors.

not hating you for your comments...may be i have only read the posts where you are bashing the Nissan brand. If you are not satisfied with it, do something about it. alter it, tell us what you did, post pics, watch us drool or be jealous. this is a car forum. you aren't doing anything wrong by posting criticism. i just have an opinion that you do it excessively. it's true for anything/everything a man has, if it doesn't look right, make it right.

I'm not gonna jump in & harp on anyone for having some critijism, but I will say that this site was built upon the praise for a near perfect ride . . with a few mods of course. I'll take a useless design element &/or some changable ricey side vents for a pretty much recall free car model any day.
