Hey guys. I've found out that stillen has lowered their headers to $499 and i was like holy crap thats a bargain cause finding their msrp to be $800+. anyways i will probably be ordering the headers and ordering the h&r lowering springs for infinitipartsusa with their 7% off. :D can't wait till i order them and i don't know if i should install headers with my friends who helped me install my spacer. Cause they really want to hear my car open headers. But i think i might just get the shop to do the install on both products.

well my car is pretty much already loud ... res deletes with the flowmaster 80 exhaust. it used to be a big drone in the cabin before i added the spacer and intake .. spacer and intake made it deeper and quieter in the car.

You"ll get some good gains with Headers....but like others have said - the noise level is considerably louder....but Im used to it.

anyways i went to the shop today to make sure how much install would be on H&R Springs and Stillen headers. For both its $990. $540 for the headers, $450 for the springs. So i was like would you recommend any other brands of headers? He was more into the muscle car type so he didnt know what are good headers for this car. So what about you guys? What are good, cheap, reliable headers that give you power? OR if i don't get the performance parts and go with more of the moving the orange screen and replacing it with like a carputer how much do you think that would be?

$450 for the labor and install. That does not include the price of the springs.

That's a good price for a set of headers. What are the gains?

And Pupp, that doesn't include the price of the headers. So everything would be $990 for install and labor. Does not include price of springs and headers. Right from the stillen website. 11.5 hp at @ 6200 RPM and 18.5-lb.ft @ 3800 RPM at the wheels. Dyno Proven.

450 for just the install of springs?? did you go in there wearing a skirt??
id try another shop... i think i paid 200... and thats the highball price

no i didnt go in there with a skirt lol but the guy in there knows my car pretty good cause i would always go in there and he was the one who did my muffler and res delete. So i might either try a new shop or just get a new hobby lol get me away from the modding bug. Might get a carputer and then save up and buy a gas powered r/c car. I have one now but its a nitro r/c car. Looking for a 23-26 cc engine r/c car :)

I would seriously goto another shop......$450 for labor on the springs is highway robbery. The average shop charges about $80 per hour......and its not a 5hr job thats for sure.

That's great, decent proven gains. Nice to see. And I meant $499 for the headers is a great price, the last set of headers I purchased were $3100 uninstalled...:err:

Where are you buying the headers from, do you have a link? I might jump on these for $1000 installed.

Psiclne, what's a fair time frame for installation on just springs? An hour per wheel??

When I had mine lowered it took like 2.5 hrs........something like that.
