I seen a 2004 fx35, a vehicle that I've always wanted, at a dealership around the corner from my house. So I went there after work with 2g's. Made a deal with 2 down and $10,000 financed. It's a gray fx35 with 108,000 miles. Runs good I just have to look into cleaning the fuel sensors and try and figure out what up with my curise control. This forum already helped me a lot.
Traded my 2006 G35 Sedan, lowered on Tein flex, full exhaust, Stillen intake, Stillen High flow cats- obsidian black. and a 1993 miata lowered on wheels and a rollbar, full exhuast, intake.
Wind noise from that Ultra Moon Roof was terrible.
When we were at the coast the wind was blowing around 25 to 30 MPH and just sitting still you could hear it whistling. Only reason you did not hear it while driving was the road noise was so loud it drowned it out.
Don't get me wrong. It was fast and it handled extremely well. In fact it was faster and handled better than the C5 did.
What it lacked was the refinement that a M5 or AMG63 has.
Now I'm not a person that has to have a smooth quiet ride. I used to have a Superformance AC Cobra replica and 3 years ago we took it on an month long vacation. It's just that I expected a better level of quality with the Cadillac than what they delivered.
I had a 02 Mazda protege5. Was black on black with 68k on it. Great little car to get me around and fun to toss around in the turns. I got the fx45 as a birthday present to myself, always wanted a fx and I love v8's so it was a win win
I had a 2004 350z when my wife and I got married. She had a kia. But at least it was a stick shift We sold the kia and bought our 2007 fx35 awd, grey. We had a baby recently so just sold my 350z for a '09 G37 black sedan (hints the gx37 id) Keepin our fx though, lovin every minute of it!
Technically a downgrade. The M was nice, but it was kinda boring.
I had a 2006 G35x before all that, but I sold it before moving overseas. When I came back I really wanted a G37x, but the used market was dead, and I just hate buying new.
Technically not a trade in , but my 08 Dodge Caliber sitting stationary was written off by a teenage girl who was texting while driving Mom's minivan. So the insurance money was put toward the FX35. Really traded up.
Didn't trade anything in, just found a sweet deal on a low miles 2003 FX35. Was 1 owner but the bad news is that she didn't get the recalled dash replaced. Now the dealership wants crazy $ to replace it!
I was a victim of a Drunk driver collision unfortunately. But I was driving prior a 2008 Audi A4 Quattro S-Line. Miss the efficiency of the car but I am loving the reliability of my infiniti!!!!!
