What did you do to your Q70 today?

Update, I have almost all LEDs upgraded inside, reverse lights, and license plate lights. I got the car tinted, 35% front, 25% back 4, 15% rear glass. It has a good transition and keeps the heat out while not getting me busted. I did the plenum spacer and noticed a difference over I think 3400rpm. I dynamated the cabin of the car and hear less road noise (if only there was a way to kill all the wind noise on that thin glass). Lastly, the Tanabe exhaust finally has been shipped after a lengthy backorder. They told me it will be to Torrance this week, so I'm expecting an early Christmas late this week or next. I love my M, but I am not huge on the "tuned Infiniti" sound from a stock exhaust. I should be able to update my garage on the forum with pics after that.

As for warrantied items, I was given a new battery when I went in for a free oil change. Then, I asked him to check my moonroof because it has a lot of wind noise. Long story short (and after 3 days of a g37 courtesy car that I drove like it was stolen), I left the dealership with an oil change, plugged tire, 1 door ding removed, a new moonroof ($800), and a new battery... all for $20. Sometimes warranties do pay off. This is my first car with one.

Oil Change (Rotella T6 5W-40)
Oil Filter (K&N HP-1010)
Power Steering Reservoir Drain and Fill (Dexron VI)

Took out my rear seats, rear deck, shocks (couple of times) to search for a stinking rear rattle. I brought this to the dealer before and they supposedly fixed it, as the weather got cooler the rattle got worse. Ended up being the rear shocks, when the car is on the ground and I hit the shock with a rubber mallet, it makes a internal rattle. These are the factory tokico shocks.... I am going to search for a different brand and swap them out, will update and create a new thread later.

Just picked up an injen intake, I chose injen because it is carb approved. I know most say that an intake is a waist of money.. but I am sure after I get it tuned it will help. I will also create a new thread and do some size comparisons with the stock intake. I remember reading somebody saying that they don't use the same size inner diameter for the maf so it ruins the stock tune... we'll see....

It'll be worth at least a few HP and make for a nice, shiny bit under the hood along with the extra sound.

A tune shouldn't be necessary but you'd probably extract a couple more HP if you do.

Ordered a front sport bumper...

Ordering a rear sport bumper next week, was going to just leave the rear, but since I got rear ended....I guess it's time.

Swapped out my rear factory tokico shocks to kyb's. Finally got rid of the rear rattles....
