What did you buy for your FX / QX70 today?

I'm going sc and doing my valve gaskets and got a good deal so did it anyways I'll let you know when it's on and done

I bought it off a Canadian gtr forum
Oem gtr 2010 rims
im running 265/50/20 front and 295/40/20 rears

Michelin LTX M/S2 265/60 - 18 tires to replace some very worn out Goodyears previous owner bought. Huge improvement in highway ride and noise. These LTX tires are somewhat harsh on backroads because they are stiffer construction than passenger car tires but they are quiet and vibration free at high speeds. Snow and rain traction is outstanding so far. We got 5" on Monday and I had no trouble in conditions that were giving drivers on lesser all season tires trouble. I have owned > 40 cars and trucks over the years and have tried most brands and types of tires in that time. I have to say, the Michelins were the most expensive tires I have purchased but I am convinced they are worth it after trying to save money with other brands for more than 20 years. I put > 20K miles per year on my vehicles and these tires will probably be cheaper in the long run if they last as long as they are reported to. They make another tire called the Premier LTX for our FXs that will probably ride better and still have good rain traction. I went with the LTX M/S2 because I believe it does better in moderate snow than the Premier LTX.

Still trying to figure out what all I want to do with my FX, there is so much out there, I love it! Just bought LED's for everything inside and out. WeatherTech vent visors, and floor mats on the way. Looking at getting the sports tail lights, but having a hard time finding them without spending too much. Just getting started, and hope I can use this forum to get some great ideas! Thank you! :)

Top three to be addressed as soon as my tax return comes in: coils, wheels, exhaust. Just bought mine less than a month ago btw.

Just bought CNT HFCs, powerstop Z26 pad and rotor kit (cheap upgraded over stock) and 3m colorstable window tint. Now just need to find time to install it all!

Let me know how the powerstops work for you. Have heard mixed reviews.

I bought some LED reverse lights today, gonna slap those in. Been reading about people going with HID in the reverse lights, is this really a thing? seems like overkill!

Yes, I believe HID reverse lights are overkill. I have LEDs in mine, and they are super bright enough for me.

NP & Kane, which brand LED reverse lights did you get and where? I currently have a cheapy pair that barely lights anything up...would like to change them out.

But on the flip side, i think having hid reverse lights may help during low light conditions as far as the picture quality of the oem backup camera

I bought the JDM ASTAR ones on Amazon. they are decent, but to be honest I haven't had to reverse at night time yet so can't comment on how well they illuminate the back up camera.

They dont look too bad at all based on the lighting and relative to your other lights. Keep me posted on how the work when completely dark out. Thanks.
