Only reason not having the Max was because the display is too busy and too small for me. My eyes are failing me lately that I have been forced to wear glasses for reading and when using a computer.

Not yet. I hesitated after reading a lenghty review from a guy in NYC complaining that there was not enough users to make the subscription worth it. He reasoned that if he does not get enough feedback from other users of a similar capable unit in a city of 3.4M how much more in sparsely populated cities. Then again, the original post was in 2014 while this was still relatively new.
I'm not sure if Goldman signed up to the subscription. He has the 9500ix too.

Same reason that I never subscribe to the Escort Live service. I believe Rip has Escort Live while he was in the Chicago area and I did ask him if there sufficient users in the area.
No personal experience the the Max 360, but I've always love the ideas of knowing which direction to look when it goes off. Not sure why I didn't go with the Valentine1 when I was buying the 9500ix. But I have always a fan of the Passport and hoping there is a "Passport 360" one day. But $650 is too much for me to spend on the RD while my 9500ix is perfectly fine.

In many head to head comparison, the 9500ix and the Max series are rated higher than the V1 because of its ability to eliminate false readings. Though V1 has the superior range by a few notch. I go crazy with my old X50 with the false alerts so I'm not keen to go with V1 just for the negligible range differential. So far I'm happy with how the 9500ix performs on my first few highway runs[emoji106]

Since I have to remove it to replace the front propeller drive shaft a few weeks ago and it has not been put back on. honestly, I didn't feel any difference with or without it.
I don't expect it to significantly affect the ride, it's just self satisfaction of having full set [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]
