What damaged your FX 2009+ so far?

Here is my list...

• All four door wood trim (replaced under warranty)
• Front suspension connecting rod making noise @35k (replace by extended warranty)
• Cooling system thermostat @35k (replace by extended warranty)
• Dash cracked next to passenger and driver A/C vents @ 37k (out of warranty)
• Sunroof drain leakage to passenger side floor @35k (repaired by dealer $90)
• Battery @ 3 yrs
• All for brakes pads @20-25k
• Bended rotors

My FX now is 42k miles and 5 years old.

My brakes are squeaking and im only at 10.5k miles. Last time i was in for service, the tech made aware that i might need new brakes soon. Is this normal or is this something warranty will take care of?

Warranty doesn't cover parts that wear, like rotors, brake pads, and tires. If they are wearing fast though then there might be something else wrong.

I've own other cars that never needed new brakes until about the 20k mark. What else could be wrong?

I guess something could be wrong with the way the pads were installed and they are rubbing all the time. Did they give you the actual measurements of how much pad is left? Maybe they are just bs'ing you to get you to replace them early. I feel like my brakes have lasted about 30k each time. I think I've just replaced them twice, and it's about time for a third with almost 100k miles.

They told me its at 6mm f/r. Its been 2 months since i was in for service and now my brakes started squeaking today.

at 50k, throttle bodies were changed. At times, it had a hard time starting on the first try.

Had the sunroof blow out on me @ 40 mph, then had $4400 worth of hail damage that I'm in the process of fixing.

Ouch!!! :eek.: how that could happen? Is not covered by warranty or insurance?

I was still under warranty so thankfully Infiniti covered it. They tried to say that an object could've caused it or the wind fairing from my rack but I was pretty persistent on pointing out the fact that the glass was protruding out wards at the site. Apparently this has been a common issue with kia, BMW, and some other manufacturers

Someone keyed my car in the parking lot and my dad backed up into the front of my car while I was parked behind him other than that no mechanical damages so far been pretty lucky
