What color ?

Hey guys . So I been looking to change my car color and wanted something temporary . I looked at plastidip because if I get sick of It I can just remove it easily . Looking at these 2 colors nebula red and nebula blue . what do you guys think looks best? Wheels and grill will be black ....

Nebula red looks good was going to that same color on my fx. Check out the other custom blue done to fonzies a6 its a mixture of blue and black. Looks really good.
 
I love that blue, my fav color as you can tell lol
 
Easily remove plastidip..... Not so fast. It's easier to remove vinyl than Plastidip from all those little crevices

my vote is for red as well
 
I just called the place where they can do it next to me. the guy suggested I wait till spring :disapointed:. He said it needs about 5 to 6 coats and about 2 weeks to cure but since its so cold in NY now they don't recommend it . I guess I can wait another month or 2 ... I update when its done.
 
Out of curiosity, what are they quoting you to do the job? I too have thought about doing my wife's BMW.
 
they asked for $900 for this color. they can do cheaper if I choose a color that doesn't have pearl. You can actually do this if you have the room . I don't . but you just get an electric paint spray gun and you can buy the paint in 1 gallon already thinned . just stir put in the gun and shoot . you will need about 3 gallons . each gallon is roughly $75 . you just have to mask key things like radiator exhaust wheels.
 
Damn such a tough choice they both look amazing ... I was considering these two colors and pearl white ... Lol I ended up with pearl white and don't regret it at all .... My second choice would of been nebula blue... Heck I might go nebula blue after I get over my pearl white I paid $1000 flat but got my roof done black so that's why it was a lil more
 
There is an aftermarket bumper. Look up Rookie bumper. It's made to order by a shop in CA. Skirts and rear bumper would have to be custom, but it's been done. Look up iMotionfx45 who grafted a Gen2 bumper and G35 (I think) skirts to his FX.
 
Although I typically prefer blue over red colors, I think the Nebula red stands out better and would be more unique.

I am really starting to think if they made a mold of iMotion's side skirts, there might be a market for them.

The shop he went to chopped and modified a set of G35 Sedan skirts. I know I would be in for a set.
 
They won't make any molds. I already asked him. Too expensive to make a mold.
