I know I really have to watch my speed in the US. The Police really throw it at us if someone with a non US plate gets caught.

It's also bad in Ontario, if a person gets caught speeding and is 30 mph or over the limit, they get an immediate 7 day licence suspension and car impoundment + up to 2 year additional licence suspension upon conviction.

Yes, definitely detectable by police. Are you thinking using it in Canada? I know for a fact Canadian highway patrol use radar jammer detector.

No, I just didn't know that you can't use it in Canada. If I would have been in Canada and was using the radar detector, I would hide it before getting pulled over but then was wondering if the police would know if I said I wasn't using it if they would know I was lieing? I thought that the more expensive detectors have something that makes them undetectable...I forgot the name of it though...I think the name starts with a V.

Escort 9500ix is not a radar detector, so would they not be able to detect ours?

Just FYI, that mph you listed above is on a low end lately and it does feel ridiculously smooth and quite. I've also been getting a lot of guys that have been screwing with me lately.
