What are these tools near my spare tire?

Really stupid question but I couldn't find an explanation in the manual nor through google. I had a flat this weekend and was wondering what these tools near my spare tire are for? The pole on the top right has a twin on the other side. By the way, the flat was from the metal valve stem corroding and going into the rim when I tried to add air to the tire. My mechanic said he's seen it often and he replaced the valve stem with a rubber one instead. Doesn't look quite as nice but it looks better than a spare tire...

The larger tool o top is actually a collapsible wheel choke and the small key like thingy is something like a gear stick over ride. Correct me if I'm mistaken on the 2nd tool.

THats what it was i was like that thing is used to pry something. But hes right, on the shifter there is a thing that you can use your nails to pop open bot the tool makes it easier

Thanks. So another stupid question, how am I supposed to use the collapsible wheel choke? The other ones I've seen are like small ramps or chocks.
