What are ppls reactions when you pass by with your FX?

even though more and more 1st gens are rolling about, mine stands out from them all. i still get thumbs up/nice car/
a phone number at a stoplight......okay that was only once but it was still cool!

and thats only at my hometown



at my college town...most of the people have never seen an fx before!!!!!!!!
i get sooo many looks---especially in the morning on a cold start when i rip it. o.m.g


and about cheeesy and mike.....cheese- chill the F out. if i were flamed like that you'de be on fire :) mike- dont take anything here personally!

When I drove the FX cross country, I got a lot of looks... not all good, from the people in the south. They still seem to have a dislike of imports down there. Most of the luxury SUV's I saw in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida were Cadillacs and Lincolns. Here in Cali, I don't seem to get a lot of looks, although the red color does get some attention.
 
After the SD meet, Will, Ken, Bert and me headed out to La Jolla. When we were driving down the street, people were starring and saw a couple pointing. Guess they were surprised to see 4 rimmed up and lowered FX's

an IS-F is just about the same load as the IS350 fully loaded. the IS was my second alternative

I didn't want my name anymore in my account so i changed it. to avoid multiple logging in, i asked fxlr8 to delete the other one

its funny because had someone said he was back, i think i could have picked his new account out. :laugh:

so i was at pavilions today doing some grocery shopping and wat not...left the market and went to my car. as i was loading the stuff into the trunk the girl next to me who was also putting stuff in her car looks over and says to me "cute car". Now at this point i was thinking wat was so cute about it. So i went on to ask her what's so cute about it. And she says "i dont know, it looks like a big muffin". So i thought to myself is she serious about the muffin deal? or is she hitting on me. I looked over and saw she was driving a new 3 series. SO....we chatted for a little bit and in the end i got her number!

I hate when girls say a car looks cute.

It can even be a huge lifted Silverado and they would be like "Oh, thats cute"

Put that is just your typical girl I guess.

well lucky you sgvxcheese!! i was driving home on sunday and i pulled up to the gas station on I95, as soon as i pulled up this lady got off her SUV and started walking around my Baby.. i was talking to the service man telling him to filled it up and use 93 fuel but on the corner of my eyes i kept watching the female.. after the second circle around my car she came to my window and asked me what kind of car was it..? in my head i was thinking are you serious?? after going around twice you cant figured that out... lol so i answered her and told her it was a FX35... she asked me whats that?? i told her its a XUV made by Infiniti. she told me its a nice looking car! i said thank you ma'am and drove off!

Sgvxcheese and lucky for you that it wasnt a 50+ year old lady!!!!! like the one that walked around my baby!
 
many broken necks, girls flirted with, questions asked. The worst is at my school in the middle of pennsylvania. half the people don't know what an INFINITI is.
