yeah, that happens to me alot too, "so, when did you get that?", "oh, I got it last year", "oh, so what is it, an 07 or an 08?" , "nah, it's an 03, was silver when I got it..."

+1 Most people can't beleive mines an 04 they think it's new.
i have 05 and the same thing happened to me.. only people that have FX know that my fx is 03 or up.. but for the most part people always think is new...

Funny thing happen to me a few weeks ago. I was dropping off a package in an alley where I saw a FedEx Truck. As I got out of my FX, this Older lady walks up to my FX and Starts asking me about what car this is and why my doors are like that? She would not let go and called her husband to come over and look. Meanwhile the people who where lining up in the alley behind me started honking. Finally I closed the doors and drove off.

was at the Staple Center last night for the Kings game...
was looking for lot C and stopped to ask a Security guy for directions. My wife heard 3 other guys in the back ground utter theses words .." damn that cars bad ass!" .
She told me this while I drove off leaving them the note of Nismo!

I get a lot of people looking back when they hear me coming, then look surprised to see an FX. Since my exhaust is pretty much stock except for the Y, it's pretty cool.

Not many reactions until I hop out of the car...they see a young kid in torn jeans bright color skater shoes and a basball hat jump out they kinda get a funny look. I guess im not your normal FX driver.
But then again thats one of the things I love about the FX...Plenty of Show and Go even when its bone stock.

not much nowadays... since 2009 came out and dealers discounted previous models, there's a ton FX's in my area. I did, however, get my '15 minutes of fame' back in 2003 - I had people giving me 'thumbs up' for about a year. One girl actually asked me to roll down my window to tell me how madly in love she is with my car

i'm gonna go with Ferrari F430 spider. i dont think thats a shifter like 1st gear, etc. but im pretty sure those are for going into reverse. thats how it is on maserati's with the flappy paddles.
