What air freshener scent do you use in your car?

^^^^^^^^^^
I remember goin to yaohan in J town to buy thoses back in the days.....

I only use the Japanese gel air freshener "MyShaldan", comes in a multitude of flavors/scents. I always go for either apple, lemon, or orange. They smell so good you would think they are edible. They stay for at least 20-30 days depending on where you attach them. I attach them with zip ties to the footwell vents. They're available in most asian stores. Marrukai in LA. Just about any other asian store here in the East coast. They're cheap too, about $3. bucks ea.

i got the cxc3 or something like that but it is citrus
got three of them layin around the car but still does not last for a long time -_-:tears::tears::tears:

I love the new car smell. But not the air freshener. Does anybody realize how much the New Car air freshener smells NOTHING like a new car?

i am now a squash man. But I don't like having it on my dash. So I put it in the storage space in my door.

nice, i put it in the little space in the center armrest. then when i need to release some i just pop it up for a second.

Wow, i just ordered a car air freshener from Sourcingmap. It has an apple shape and looks great. And it has a clip that allow me to clip the air freshener on the car's air outlet. I 'm not sure how long it is useful, but so what, it is so cheap and it has a beautiful design that i can also use it as a decoration for my Car. Cheer!

i use "marine squash." You can find it in the Mitsuwa supermarket. However, buy the big one, used for bathrooms as it is much cheaper than the tiny car one and lasts much longer too :)

This threads funny ... I prefer to hide dryer sheets all over the car, glove box, back seat etc. Smells like clean laundry every time I open the door :tongue (2):

+1 for "MyShaldan" as well. Have also been using these for the past 10yrs and I have yet to find a replacement that smells as good and lasts as long, not to mention the low cost as well. I get compliments from everyone that enters my car about the smell too.

I agree - sort of a funny thread to me! Never used freshener of any kind. Never needed it - my car smells "neutral". No smell.

Whenever the car wash people ask what type of scent I want, I always tell them not to put that shit in my car.

You guys must be stinky.

I was kind of wondering the same thing as Jumbo. What are you guys doing in your cars that you need an air freshener? On second thought, I probably don't want to know... :eek.:

Your car will have a neutral smell if you're the only one riding. If you've had the car for more than 6months, trust me theres a smell. It might not be one thats offensive, but its there.

Haha - sorry man - no. There is no smell. I've owned my FX since 2004 and never had any person ever say they smelled anything. I have a wife and two kids that can contribute to mess - but I keep my car clean. Anything I notice that's dirty gets cleaned up that day. To me it smells of faint leather.

You should try buying an under-arm product that contains both antiperspirant AND deodorant. :wink (2):

Maybe this is a family thing - I don't notice a smell in any of my family's cars. Wife, mother, father, inlaws... and I can't remember the last time I got into a friends car and noticed a "scent". From all the people posting here I would have thought everybody uses some type of air freshener.
