What about calipers?

I've been doing lots of research on here about new brakes and rotors for my car but I'm not finding anything on my search about calipers except for painting threads. Are the factory calipers fine or is it recommended to upgrade to new ones. I've been checking out R1 Concepts but I'll be giving Rotopros a look here today as well.

Thanks

Generally, the OEM calipers are just fine unless you're looking to upgrade your brakes to BBK. Something wrong with your OEM calipers?

Nothing wrong with them that I know of. This is my first brake upgrade and I wasn't sure what was typically done or if stock worked with premium rotors etc. Thx

Any rotors you will find that are sold individually and labeled as compatible with your car are going to be "oem replacement" style, meaning that they are a direct replacement for the factory rotors. The ones that require special hardware (calipers, brackets, or lines) are sold in kits that include said hardware. If you were to go with one of those BBKs (Big Brake Kit) then in the future you would contact that company directly for rotor replacements.
