Welcoming Lights on the 2009 FX?

Does the 2009 Infinti Fx35 have the welcoming lights like the Ex model. I tried to set it but only the side view mirror lights came on. I wanted to know if the welcoming lights included the cabin lights like the Ex.

Mine does. Well, most of the time it does. It seems that occasionally it doesn't recognize me. It's rather depressing, really, that sometimes my car forgets who I am. Kinda like an old girlfriend I had once...

I haven't paid close enough attention to determine when it does or does not work. It's based off of reception of the so-called "Intelligent Key" (via RF of some sort, I suppose). If you suspect interference in the area, try moving the car elsewhere and try again.

However, to answer your question, when it does thoughtfully remember who I am, the side-view mirror-mounted puddle lamps as well as the interior lamps do illuminate.
 
Do the steps on page 2-62 in the Owner's Manual to make sure the feature is enabled. Then, from Settings->Comfort and Convenience, check the "Auto Interior Illumination" option is ON. Also, make sure the switches for the interior lights are set to "Door."

After that, I can't think of anything else that would affect the welcome light feature. If it still doesn't work it sounds like it's time to call the dealer.
