Welcome new members.

Thanks ! :smile (2):

I was expecting them to come in black. Should I call them to see why their blue? I don't want them to stand out since their blue and the Infiniti is black :ninja:

Joined this site in 2011 but have not really participated until yesterday. It's fun to see your interest in the FX35 and what you have done with them. The first FX I saw on the street in 2003 (I believe) convinced me I wanted one but couldn't afford it at that time, so in 2009 I bought a 2006 with 25,000 miles and have not been sorry. I pointed one out to a friend years back and they thought it looked like an orthopaedic shoe which I found hilarious but it did not deter my interest.

Sometimes you need to wait until you're ready to make the appearance :)

And lol on the orthopedic shoe comment.

What's up,

Fell in love with my friends' 04 fx a few years ago and finally gathered up enough ched to buy my own. 08 fx35 sport/tech, grey ext/burnt orange int. Starting off small with easy mods. Don't know too much about the ride and don't want to risk breaking stuff. Hopefully I can get more info on more intricate mods.

Hello,

I'm new to IS. I've been eyeing for a FX since 2011. AWD and a higher ride are a big plus for northern Canada. Many other vehicle considerations were made, including the Lexus RX, Acura MDX, and Audi Q7. However, none of them had the same aggressive appeal and sporty driving experience as the FX. I finally made the purchase of a 2013 FX37 last month.

I found IS while Googling for "easy" FX mods. Many members here are very knowledgeable and have done extensive mods to their vehicles.
That being said, I'm starting with something easy as install paddle shifters in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to the Scene, glad you found us, and you will find tons of useful information as well as daily dose of fun. Nice start on your first mod!:good:

New to the site as well,
Bought my '07 FX in early '09, Black and Tan, all the bells and whistles (excluding AWD) and I'm now eager to do some wrenching on her. Reading around it sounds like others have had the same bad luck with random internet searches looking for helpful hints to make modest performance mods like me. So I figured sign up and see what the experts have to say.

Hey all, i'm fxdaddy, have a low mileage 2009 fx35 (29,375) that i just bought last year. I have installed numerous upgrades to it already, and looking to do a few more, and love reading the forum about what all you guys and ladies have done to your rides. I'm 64+ yrs old and counting, but i cant seem to shake the motor oil out of my system so i am still going strong. Looking forward to the "is" forums. I'll get around to posting some photos soon.
