Im newbie, become owner of the QX70
Newbie to the IS forum. Coming over from Acurazine w/my 2007 Acura TL base w/some mods. Nothing too crazy. Looking to return it to stock so I can get an FX35 soon. I'm enjoying the FX's here on IS. It's cool to see another forum w/lots of car enthusiasts. Thanks!

Hello all. I'm new to IS, but not Infiniti. I was an Acura guy until I test-drove an FX35 in 2011. I went out and bought a 2009 FX50S, which took almost 4 months to find. That one got totaled in April 2013 in a relatively low-speed collision. By May I had a 2011 FX50S with even more options and only 11k miles. A forced upgrade, I like to say. I came in to find some help on a couple of issues that my dealer can't figure out, but I'll post those in the relevant thread. I'm looking forward to some upgrades as well (exhaust, headlights) and will be reading around for ideas and experiences. Thanks for having me! :smile (2):

Loyal Infiniti owner here...just traded in my first love 2008 g37s coupe for a 2010 FX50s (kid's car seat wouldn't fit in the back). FX is a rocket ship!

Welcome and nice to see you're staying within the family.
First post. Wife drives an 08 FX35, bone stock, we've had it about a year and a half. Plans are pay it off, H&R springs and replace shocks (hopefully without her knowing) exhaust, intake manifold, and any other basic functional bolt-on pieces.
I drive an 05 Subaru Legacy Wagon GT 5spd - rare combo. This is where most of the upgrade funds will be directed over time.

It all depends on how much you're willing to spend. Do you have a preference in design/look, finish etc etc. f.ex concave vs lip/deep dish, chrome, gunmetal, silver, black, machine wash, matte.
