Boston Noobie

Hello....great site! 2009 FX35 Midnight Mocha. I see only some FXs in and around Boston. It would be fun to be spotted by a fellow IS member. Hint: Unique plate and proudly display my alma mater. I'll be sure to post some spotted photos if I ever come across other FXs in the area. Looking forward to reading the posts. Again, great site for FX enthusiasts...thanks!

"unique plate": pretty stupid thing to say...aren't they all unique?

Hello to everyone, You can call me Deeprocker. So here is my deal, I'm 29 years old and I currently live in Montreal, Canada. I first fell in love with the fx back in 2002 when it was realeased, I was lucky to work for an Infiniti dealer as a car washer and then a new car jockey( basically I was in charge of new car arrivals a well as occasional trades with other dealers) so I drove the Fx 35 & 45 alot... Unfortunatly the price tag was way out of my league.

So here we are 2010 older better job, my girlfriend is 10 weeks pregnant and figured we will need a bigger vehicle than are current civic coupe. The main reason is that we have a dog(beautiful pit bull I'll post pics later)

So where now shopping for a 2006 fx35, we travel Alot, almost every week end to our country house. I've seen some of you guys work and wow I'm so pumped to get my own project started...

Well that's me :wink (2):

Hello Peoples, Im from Queens, NY and recently purchased an 2008 FX35.

My Handle was given to me by my mom who said as a child I had the worst poker face she had ever seen, when my brothers and I would get into things she always looked at my face to see who was lying. Thus she has called me True ever since. 22 is just my favorite number.

Love the site so far, hope to learn alot from all of you I am interested in customizing my FX a little bit at a time.

What's going on everyone. Just traded in my 06 G35 coupe for an 05 FX35. I needed a bigger vehicle and one with less miles (G had 75k on it, the FX only has 37k). I'll keep a lookout for anyone in the Boston area. Keep me posted on any meets.

Hey what's up guys!? This is Rick from Riverside-Infiniti! I work in the parts department and I do all the aftermarket parts here online for them. I'm a sponsor on G35driver and MYG37. Found out about this place through my friends over at GTSPEC.

I'm just checking in w/some back story. Very cool forum here, nicely organized. I am not yet an FX owner, but I just sold my Z because it wasn't meeting my needs anymore, and I got tired of owning 3 vehicles for just one driver. So I also sold a vintage 72 FJ40 Land Cruiser. I'm down to a 95 chevy PU 4x4 POS.

I've been using this handle b/c that is my twitter handle. I will buy a 370Z again someday, hopefully a hybrid. A hybrid would be a Corvette killer.

I need an FX (not sure yet which one) b/c I downhill mtn bike and need to haul bikes. I live in NW Montana, have a season pass in Fernie, BC. Also travel to Whistler and Silver Star in BC to ride.

So waiting for the right FX to show up, with tow package for the hitch mount 4 bike rack. Also, my Z was loaded, got used to the NAV, need it for frequent excursions.

So, Hello, and thanks for allowing me in to the Scene. Hope y'all don't regret it. ;)

welcome 370Z.

you probably want a FX35 AWD or a FX45 (AWD standard)

Good call. I've done lot's of research, I'm an analyst professionally.
Required features: AWD, Nav, backup cam, tow package, Bose sound. I'm a cheapskate so am buying '03-'05 with cash. High mileage no problem. I trust the VQ engine.
After purchase I plan to buy wheels for summer, not sure on size yet. Also Eibach springs are likely; I miss my Z already. An FX will be my pseudo Z.

as you would call it im a newbie.05 fx 45
