Weird Starting Problem ... Need some advices

That's a great old school trick. You can also use it to diagnose vacuum leaks elsewhere in the system, not just @ the TB. The plenum gasket, PCV lines, and either of the two lower manifold gaskets just to name a few.

I really need to pick up few of those tricks. :tongue (2):

if you don't want to spray a combustible liquid all over your engine you can do the same thing with a propane tank with a hose attached to it. glad you got your problem solved. so is it back to fine with even the original problem solved?

I am still monitoring. The random engine shut off when fire the car with warm engine, doesn't happen in a consistent way. It is really random. I spoke my buddy and other mechanics, my original engine shut off problem is most likely related to a dirty TB, since the car has about 140k km on it and never has the TB cleaned. I will keep monitoring and report back. :smile (2):

Thanks for all the help guys. Much appreciated.
