weird foglight question

hi all,

got a weird question for all who passes by, i noticed that when changing out my foglights with TRS LED foglights on my FX that only the driver side foglight assembly is vented, while the passenger side foglight assembly is not. is there a particular reason for this? i would assume that its an airflow issue? but wouldnt it make sense to have both foglight assembly have vents instead of just driver side?

any input in greatly appreciated.

I had mine installed by a mechanic 9 months ago, so i don't remember what the backs look like. No problems to report with them in that time.

I think the OP is referring to the fog light bezel itself? One has slots cut out the other is solid....

yea 6T9CHGR which i just noticed it when i was swapping out the OEM fog lights for morimoto LED FOGS, im guessing they only needed additional airflow on drivers side?

it's because behind the pass side there is a white washer fluid tank, so they'd rather have that hidden vs open so you can't see it from front.

That is quite the astute observation, kudos to you for noticing that, I did not when I replaced my fog lights with projectors. Also interesting explanation for the reasoning behind it, Jbaker!
