Might be after they get warmed up they become more pliable.
it was kinda of hard to tell from audio clip what the issue is I'm just making a guess at something that would be easy to check.
I always start with the easy checks and work up to to more difficult ones.
I paid like 50 bucks for the belt and half an hour labor at the dealer to do it.
@MTN FX, that thread refers to changing it on the 1st gen. The 2nd gen is a little different on the HR motor. I changed it on my G35 myself and it was easy but found changing the belt myself to be a little more difficult on the FX so I just brought it to the dealer. They changed the belt removal process on the 2nd gen unfortunately.
