Weird Driver Side Mirror Issue

So I'm having an issue with my driver side mirror. During the day it won't work at all, but at night it works perfectly fine (I checked around midnight yesterday). I also popped off the mirror and sprayed some wd40 inside the housing/on the motor, but I'm still having the same issue.

Do i need a new motor for the mirror? If so, can I buy just the motor, or do I need to buy a whole new mirror assembly?

Also, any chances a ECU reset would fix the issue?
 
Not sure really what to say but it sounds like a heat related issue being its hot in the daytime. Im not sure what to do but I do know door actuators have had issues with the heat in these cars also.
 
Yeah I'm confused by it too. I have no idea what to do, i'm going to have it checked out tomorrow. But in the meantime, I was thinking of disconnecting the battery and doing an ECU reset, although I don't think it's going to help.
