Washer Nozzle Clogged

I'm down to one little stream of water from the drivers side. Thinking of trying to shove a needle in the holes to see if I can clear them. Anyone do this or have recommendations?

Disconnect the hose going to it and blow it out with compressed air. I wouldn't stick anything into the orfices as that may dammage the port profile and screw up the spray pattern!
 
I checked the nozzles closely and they were blocked by calcium buildup. Air wouldn't get it. I used a very fine hypodermic needle. The needle was smaller in diameter than the oriface. A couple of holes took some pressure to drive the needle through the calcium. Summary.....they work like new, 6 strong streams Hitting perfect pattern on the windshield.

I had to run the needle in a couple of the orfices twice. First time opened a hole but the stream was short and weak. Another reaming with the needle did the trick. Now I'm out looking for bugs to hit my windshield just so I can wash them off.:smile (2):

Did you remove the nozzle or did you just use a needle with the nozzle in place?
 
Left nozzles in place. Raised the wiper on the drivers side for better angle/access. Took all of 5 minutes.

Another thing you can do is remove the spray nozzels and soak them in "CLR" or vinegar over night. The CLR is the stuff you see advertized on TV used to clean shower heads.
