Waking up neighbors

I was wondering what is the be-all, end-all solution to brake squeal while in reverse during cold start? I'm plagued with this terrible issue for the past 2 or 3 weeks. I have done my research but none of the solutions I have seen seem fool-proof as the results are not long lasting.

The squeal is getting so bad that I'm sure I'm waking up a few neighbors. I would like to fix this once and be done with it. What should or what has really worked long term for those who experienced this issue. Thanx...

apply disc brake quiet behind the pads and any metal part that contacts with the caliper mine stopped this way or buy aftermarket rotors and pads

Thanx for the quick response! If you don't mind me asking, which aftermarket rotors and pads should I go for that will solve this problem. I'm a little leery of a/m parts as most either don't fit right or the quality of the materials leaves a lot to be desired.

I have a small bottle fo BG anti-squeal at home but after seeing others reporting this solution was a waste I'm doubtful..

I had this issue with the OE pads and rotors as well. I did an "on vehicle rotor turned" and replaced pads with OE 's and used a quality silicone grease on backs of pads and any metal contact sources. This was done over a year ago with no squeel issues since. Also the new pad backing plates that I recieved have a new anti vibration tab added to them.

These are the hardware kits that came with the added anti squeel tabs---

I currently have slotted R1 rotors with Stoptech pads. The fitment is perfect and I have no squeals at all, though I can't say I had a consistent problem before the switch...
