VQ Dyno & Tune Fest – Sat Nov 8th

Didn't mention it to me...maybe to Fred? There were so many G's there that they basically only talked to them. But I did not approach them either. My wife and I are arguing now cause she continously puts in 87o gas. She refuses to put in 91. So with a tune...I'd be screwed. She's driving our FX now because with the lower gas prices, she says that she can finally afford to drive it again....

Once gas prices go back up...here ya go honey...I'll take the other car.
I was mentioning the question for both of you who attended the event . Gas prices is high in the US compared to where I live. I use 95 octane. I used 98 once but I returned to 95.

they should (similar engines) but best to call them to verify since the ECU p/n may be different.
I will contact them.

Did the Uprev guys offer Osiris tunes for FX?

They did talk to me about their system. I would have had to spend about a $1000 for their complete system/tune. The good thing about their system is that you can have up to 4 different programs running on your uprev including a Valet mode. You can change between programs with your cruise control knob. The Valet mode kills the RPM when the car reaches 40MPH so they can't take it for a joy ride.

I did not want to mess with my Flash, so I did not even consider it.

I sent email to them and they clearified the whole idea.

We can support the FX35, though we may need to patch the particular software
ROM that is running on your car before we can do base tuning.

Price depends on where you are located. If you're near either our shop or
one of our Pro Tuners, you can buy the flash service for $400 and then add
in their dyno tuning charge. Or if you're not local to a Pro Tuner you can
purchase the Osiris Standard that includes the Cipher cable for $700 and
includes three eTune updates. Osiris Standard cannot support forced
induction on vehicles that are naturally aspirated stock.

We can send eTune updates without having a dyno data log, though the detail
captured while on a dyno is superior, we often just use Cipher logs while
driving.

We do not adjust line pressures, to do that you should contact GTMotorsports
or Import Performance Trans for valve body upgrades.

We can remove the throttle restriction. We also adjust the other parameters
you are looking for.

Rich-

I think I'll be doing the Osiris after my pulley and exhaust mods since I can't have TS flash and won't send my ECU to the US. Also even with piggybacks like E-manage I may face problems finding good tuner to tune it.
