An announcement? Wait, the pulleys are sitting in your garage and they are going to ship tomorrow? =) you sly dog.........
 
I didn't forget about you guys, just wasn't able to meet up with Tony until earlier this evening. We'll be posting the announcement tomorrow morning. It's too late for me to type this all out right now.

Unfortunatly it doesnt look like the have the same pulleys, they do not share the same part numbers and look to be set up differently.

Ok, here's the long overdue announcement. I spoke to Tony last night about the situation and we believe this is the best course of action. The initial hang up on producing these pulleys was lack of deposits. I believe we are currently at 8 or 9. There was a lot of encouragement to do a smaller run with only the 10 instead of 15 minimum and also a few people who offered to purchase the extra few to make the 15 minimum happen.

I went back to machine shop to requote the lower number and we ran into a serious production issue (an oversight on the first quote). Without getting into details, this shop won't be able to produce the pulleys in a fashion that will work for this application. Tony and I went back and forth on this, but we mutually agreed that we will NOT put this project off entirely, however... We will be refunding everybody's deposit while we look into another production method.

I am very sorry to be making this announcement, but we feel that it is the best option for the time being.
 
Well, thanks for trying to get everything materialized for the group buy and the forum. It's a shame that the machine shop isn't able to accommodate us. Hopefully you will find another shop that is willing to work with you in the future!
