Hi all, I’m looking to hide most of my chrome trim with vinyl wrap. I don’t want to “black out” but instead something like dark chrome or hyper black to go along with the gunmetal turbine wheels and roof racks. Which vinyl do y’all recommend that looks more like black chrome?
 
Hey wrap installer here, you have a few options including black chrome. I suggest sticking with Avery or 3M film (trust me, there is a difference). These films are UV stable for 7+ years and will last. You can look up the range of options online (metrorestyling is a good online shop). If you go to a wrap shop ask to look at a sample book. A brushed dark grey would look cool and be different x
 
Hi, I was looking at the Avery dark chrome vinyl since I’ve had good experience with the brand before but I ended up using Vvivid‘s ultimate tint in light smoke and so far the results look exactly what I was thinking of but I may need to get the side vents done by a pro
